For the past four years, TMG has provided its staff with the time and funds to ensure ten “adopted angels” from the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program have their Christmas wishes granted. Equipped with hundred dollar bills supplied by the firm, employees at The Marston Group (TMG) spent a recent December weekday morning shopping for this great cause.
Fifteen staff members scoured the city in search of the perfect toys, clothing and other items to answer the wishes and needs of underpriviledged children and seniors in Memphis. “Our staff loves participating in this annual event,” says CEO and Senior Partner Chip Marston, “and everyone takes great pleasure in giving back to our community. The fact that the shopping is done during office hours makes it even more enjoyable.”
According to the Salvation Army, all recipients are individually screened to verify need and determine they were not served last year or by other holiday programs.
