Marston Group Hosted An Evening Under the Stars at Levitt Shell

In continued support of the arts and music in Memphis, The Marston Group was pleased to host an evening under the stars with musician Paul Thorn at The Levitt Shell on October 6, 2013. The Levitt Shell is one of the many nonprofit clients that The Marston Group Serves in the Memphis area. Since TMG partners serve on various boards, the firm was delighted that fellow members were able to join them at the event this year.

Firm client Just for Lunch provided hors d’oeuvres and The Whimsy Cookie Company served custom-made dessert cookies, which were individually wrapped and distributed to all guests. The Marston Group also donated a cigar box guitar from client Saint Blues Guitar Workshop to the Levitt Shell’s annual auction.

Paul Thorn is a Tupelo-born musician was educated among some of the same people that nurtured another upcoming sensation fondly known as the King of Rock and Roll — Elvis Presley. He opened for Bonnie Raitt, Mark Knopfler, John Prine and many other headliners, creating some of the most memorable music of our time.

The Levitt Shell is located in the heart of Midtown and encourages common ground through the arts with generous support from the community. With more than 50 free concerts and events each year, the beautiful Overton Park venue is recognized as a Memphis staple.
