In October 2009, The Dixon welcomed The Marston Group, PLC to its corporate community of support.
According to J. Kenneth (Chip) Marston, CPA, “The Dixon is a treasure that can lift the soul of our city, one person at a time. Our firm is passionate in its commitment to our city and the arts and The Dixon is an ideal partner with which to align to carry out this mix of business leadership and cultural awareness through the arts."
In what has been called the greatest single act of cultural philanthropy in Memphis History, Hugo and Margaret Dixon, in 1976, bequeathed their home and art collection for the enjoyment and enrichment of the city's citizens.
Since this bequest, thousands of people have joined The Dixon's family of friends and donors to help bring art and people together for enjoyment, discovery and learning.
Senior member James (Jimmy) S. Dickey, Jr., JD, MBA, CPA concludes, "As a firm, we are committed to our philosophy of 'insight beyond the numbers' by promoting cultural resources, like The Dixon, that exist in our great city."
